Physical: Projectable 6-foot-2, 205 lb frame
Offensively: Wide, balanced base in a slightly open stance with a bend in the knees and the hands starting relaxed in front of the back shoulder; gets into back side with a toe tap stride before gaining ground while the hands take a short load straight back with some barrel tilt; aggressive through the lower half generating +bat speed (80 MPH peak per Blast Motion) in an impressive round consistently barreling line drive with a peak exit velo 95 MPH per Trackman.
Defensively: Active footwork around the bag; gets low to the ground fielding the ball with a confident glove hand. moderate arm swing to a 3/4 release. INF 76 MPH
Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Works with a backward stride before attacking the hitting zone. Displayed a consistent line drive swing during the batting practice portion at the Last Chance Event. Stays balanced throughout the swing.
Defensively- The 2022 graduate worked out at first. Displayed active footwork. Moves well around the bag. Above average funnel actions and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. The 2022 graduate has a projectable build and is a must follow.
