Physical: 6’2 195lb C/ OF ran a 7.38 laser timed 60-yard dash. Strong frame has solid size with room to add more speed and quickness with time.
Offensively: He starts in a wide stance with his front foot slightly opened up. His hands are loaded back and even with his back ear as a pre-pitch set up. As he strides forward his hands laid back more creating his timing mechanism. His barrel path works down through the ball with very little wasted movement.
Defensively: He receives from a new school, one knee down stance and sticks pitches in the strike zone. He bounces to a more traditional squatted stance when it comes time to throw to bases. He uses a jump turn to line his body up with his target before using a quick glove to hand transfer to release the ball. His arm works like a sling shot as he propels the ball to his target.
