7/22/20

Physical: Projectable, well put together 6-foot, 185-pound frame with some more room to add strength. 8.07 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Tall, wide open stance as the hands rest directly on the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a quick toe-tap stride to initiate a quick and violent, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. The hands worked with impressive speed towards impact and got to extension with authority. Generated natural hard contact to the pull-side gap during batting practice while hitting into a stiff front side, repeatedly contacted the ball at the front of the plate. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 87 mph according to Trackman Baseball.

Defensively: The primary outfielder featured adequate footwork in space while arriving to the ball on time with a moderately low center of gravity. A soft glove hand played out in front of the middle of the body on the approach, the arm worked from a high ¾ slot with a moderate arm circle. OF - 79 mph

2/18/20

Physical: 6-foot-0, 185-pounds. Lean, athletic build. 7.71 runner in the 60; 4.95 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, open, relaxed stance with his bat resting on his back shoulder, brings his hands back along with a medium leg kick  Barrel gets on plane early and stays on plane to and through the point of contact, barrel stays flat throughout the whole swing. Up the middle/pull-side approach. 81 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively:  Shows glove early, controlled footwork attacking the ball, fields the ball out in front and shuffles to release. Short arm swing; 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 69 MPH.

Pitching Delivery: Starts with hands high, pre-loaded into back leg out of the stretch, compact at leg lift, strides out slightly closed coming back across on follow through.
Arm Action: Mid arm swing straight back to a whippy 3/4 slot.
FB: T77, 75-77 MPH. Arm side tail.
CB: 62-64 MPH. Slurve action.
CH: 66-69 MPH. Arm side fade.

10/20/19

Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in an open stance. Simple load actions. Enters and exits the hitting zone quickly. Displayed hard contact to the middle and opposite side of the field. Defensively- the 2021 graduate worked out at 3rd. Sits back and waits for the baseball. Above average funnel actions and throws from a mid 3/4 arm slot. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery. Works mainly from the stretch. Takes his time to gather himself into a balanced backside before working downhill. The 2021 graduate as upside and will only increase his numbers as he continues to develop.
