Physical: Well put together 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame with a solid blend of standout athleticism and strength throughout the actions. 6.83 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Open, narrow stance with the hands showing rhythm at the ear with the barrel pointed over the shoulder in the setup. The bat wiggles to point straight up upon load at the shoulder coupled with a comfortable leg hang stride to initiate a smooth and whippy, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting window. Generated high level bat speed (76 mph max per Blast Motion) with a short time to contact and plenty of power upon impact. Lifted the ball to the LCF gap with natural backspin and repeated hard contact at the front of the plate evidenced by an 83% hard hit rate during batting practice. Recorded a top of 98 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball and projects to find a home somewhere in the middle of the order at the next level with an advanced hit tool.
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured a moderately low center of gravity with quick lateral movements and ability to cover ground at the hot corner. Featured a soft glove hand out in front while arriving to the ball on time with regularity. Demonstrated adequate transfers from fielding to throwing while using an over the top slot to throw accurately across the diamond. Showed the ability to throw from a slight high ¾ slot when making the play on the run. 3B - 73 mphPhysical: 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. Tall, athletic, projectable frame.
Run: 6.97 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Tall, open stance, with high hands that work back on load along with a medium stride Barrel gets to and through the zone quickly, finishes on an uphill plane, with a one-handed finish, good use of lower half.
Power: 96 MPH raw exit velocity. Hard contact to the pull side with present power.
Defense: INF: Smooth, clean footwork, gets around the ball, fields the ball in the middle of his body funneling the ball into his stomach, OF: Small hop for timing, stays low on approach, fields ball in the middle of body, crow hop release.
Arm: INF: Quick arm swing with a high 3/4 slot, OF: Medium arm swing; over the top slot. INF - 75 MPH. OF - 76 MPH.
