Pitching: Works from the stretch with front foot staggered open. drives the knee up high to the shoulders while starting to get into back leg before gliding out in line to the target and finishing tall and across the body. Drops the hand down and back before getting to a whippy, low 3/4 release with some deception.
FB: Has ride, run and jumps through the zone with a bauer unit up to 28. CB: Has feel for it on the back door side with 2-8 shape. CH: Flashed feel for a fading change.
Physical: 5-foot-11, 140 pounds; slight, compact build.
Pitching: Repeatable mechanics, finds a good balance point and drives down the mound from there. Short take away, keeps a bent arm the entire way through a 3/4 slot. Has some recoil after the pitch. FB: T 71 MPH, 69-71 MPH. Commanded the fastball well inside the zone, showed ability to spot where he wants to. CB: 57-60 MPH. Quality curveball with sharp downward break to it as it approaches the plate.
