Physical: Demonstrated advanced physicality in a projectable 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame with noticeable strength throughout the actions. 7.25 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, even stance with the hands high at the head in the setup. Utilized a toe tap with some weight shift to the front side while initiating a slightly uphill barrel path with plenty of bat speed through the zone; recorded a 23.60 mph hand speed according to Blast Motion during batting practice and was repeatedly on time at the front of the plate with a 67% hard hit percentage. The upper half could get rotational at times and pull off the ball, but for the most part allowed for hard contact to the LF side with advanced quickness in the top hand. Registered a top bat exit velocity of 96 mph per Trackman Baseball while notching a max distance of 334 feet.
Defensively: The primary first baseman showcased a moderately low center of gravity with adequate feel around the bag during defensive evaluations. Showcased a soft glove hand working out in front of the body with short and quick lateral movements and quick catch & throw skills. Demonstrated the ability to get back to the bag during double play feeds with the usage of “inside turns” on the front end. Arm worked accurately across the diamond out of a high ¾ slot with a short takeaway. 1B - 69 mph

Marrone has a 6-foot-2, 195-pound projectable frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Began in a strong crouched stance, had a small load and used a short stride to initiate his swing. Raw bat speed and a flat swing plane, he ends his swing with extension on his finish. Was able to find some barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; has a fluid exchange and raw hands. Used a high ¾ slot with short arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.51.

Impressive performance for the 2021 graduate. At the plate, Marrone continues to display the power potential with hard consistent contact and a personal best 90 MPH exit velocity. Marrone stays balanced and has a slight lift at the point of contact. Defensively, Marrone shows he can move well around the bag. Takes his time when he has the baseball to gather himself when making throws around the infield. Marrone is a player to follow.

Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance feet shoulder width apart. Strong swing. Hard consistent contact to the pull side. Slight lift at the point of contact. Good use of the lower half. Defensively- the 1B fields the baseball in a wide base. Displayed active footwork during the defensive showcase at the Fall top prospect games. Marrone takes his time when getting rid of the baseball. The 2021 graduate is a must follow.

Strong frame with an athletic, proportional build at 6-foot-1, 200-pounds. Offensively – Balanced set-up with feet just outside of shoulder width. Slight knee bend. Short, quick forward stride. Back elbow stays high throughout load. Hands show quickness and noticeable strength at point of contact. Level swing with full hip rotation. Defensively – Big target who moves quickly around the bag. Stays balanced while moving laterally and maintains control of glove hand. Keeps momentum going with feet while coming thru the ball. Compact arm action with some stiffness at release. High ¾ arm slot.
