April 2016
With a thin, athletic frame, the young dual guy Brandon Zielinski sat 77-79 MPH in his first outing of the spring on a cold windy day in Buffalo. Fast ball was a little straight which allowed it get hit, but curve ball showed some good depth and was able to get some swing and misses from the Panthers. Zielinski stays tall early in delivery but loses some velocity by cutting himself off prior to fully extending in front. After his duties on the mound were over Brandon showed great versatility up the middle making some smooth plays at SS.
