Starts in a balanced strong stance with a quick load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 82 mph; has quick feet, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a consistent arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.09. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2196; Avg 1981).
