Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; lean, athletic frame. 7.3 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Upright stance with a wide base and some bend in the knees; small stride for timing. Average effort with short, compact barrel path, bat stays on one plane throughout. Line drive approach; peak Trackman exit velocity of 86 MPH.
Defensively: Starts upright on his toes; approaches the ball low to the ground with good pace, smooth, controlled footwork. smooth hands, clean transfer; medium arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.
Pitching: Sets up in the middle of the rubber, drop steps into an easy windup with a leg lift to his waist, strides short and towards the plate. moderate take back with a 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 80-83 MPH. Arm side run. CB: 66-69 MPH. Sharp 11-5 shape.
Offensively- the left handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance with feet shoulder width apart. The 2021 graduate displayed a quick path to the baseball and a short compact swing. Drove the ball to the pull side during batting practice. Defensively- the infielder displayed active footwork. Gets himself in a good fielding position when approaching the baseball. Quick exchange to a 3/4 release on throws across the diamond. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery and a projectable arm. The RHP works with a quick tempo and mainly on the left side of the rubber. FB peaked at 80 MPH. CB ranged from 65-67 MPH and 74-75 MPH.
