Physical: 6-foot-0, 175 pounds; long, lean frame.
Pitching: Sets up in the middle of the rubber, wide side step, leg lift slightly above his waist with some coil, drives off his back side and lands slightly closed. Long, quick arm action out of a 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 82-83 MPH. Locates with arm side run. CB: 68-71 MPH. 10-4 shape. FB arm speed with arm side fade.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 175-pounds. Lean, long frame. 7.63 runner in the 60; 4.45 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, athletic stance with an even base, hands level with his chin, uses a toe tap and a tiny stride for timing Flat, direct barrel path to the point of contact, finishes on an uphill plane. Gap to gap approach. 81 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Starts upright and gets low with the ball, fields the ball just inside his arm foot, deliberate footwork. Medium arm swing with a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Works up tempo with a big drop step into a leg lift above the waist before striding down and out to a slightly closed landing with a repeatable release. Long, whippy arm action to a clean 3/4 release. FB: T83, 80-81 MPH. Arm side run with life through the zone. CB: 64-66 MPH. Commanded with a sharp 11-5 break. CH: 72-73 MPH. Plus pitch; good sell with arm side run.
