Physical: 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. Tall, athletic build.
Run: 7.36 runner in the 60.

Power: 92 MPH raw exit velocity. Hard line drives showing gap to gap power.
Defense: 2.19-2.25 pop times. Wide, balanced set up, foot work moving to 3rd base side landing slightly open, keeps hand close for transfer in front.
Arm: Short arm action to 3/4 release. C - 77 MPH.

High end athletic build at 6-foot-3 195 pounds. Right-handed hitter exhibits plenty of strength in the box; aggressive lower half and can work the ball to the opposite field. Repeats actions but could benefit from his timing being slightly earlier. High ceiling offensively. Defensively- Patchett demonstrates a traditional catcher's arm action with plenty of strength. With any catcher that is his size, being able to stay low out of the chute and have the catch-to-throw movements blend better will make him a high end catch and throw defender. Athleticism will play behind the plate but could open up other positions as the offensive game will keep in the lineup at the next level.
