Notes

Comments

6/11/19

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 160-pound physical frame.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slow wind up with a high leg kick landing slightly open. Longer 3/4 arm action falling slightly off glove side after release point.

Fastball:  72-74mph. Apparent arm side movement showing potential to locate on the corners of the plate. More comfortable locating on the outside corner.

Curveball: 67-69mph. 11/5 movement that drops off the table having more depth than action. Thrown in the strike zone most of the time.

Changeup: 69-70mph. Slight arm side drop to it. Not to big of a velocity difference from fastball indicating some more velocity could be in the tank for fastball.

Pitchability: In the zone most of the time with all three pitches.

5/29/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a double tap for timing with hands staying quiet prior to launch. Path is slightly downhill showing developing natural tools through the zone. Would be aided by leveling out path. Generated most natural ball flight to the middle of the field. Should see increases in pop as he matures physically. A first baseman that move well off the bag, showing feel for the spot. Looks well versed at the position with above average ball skills. Two-way prospect. On the bump he has a slow paced tempo to a deliver that requires some effort. Uses slinging arm action through a near ¾ slot with noticeable arm whip in there. Fastball was anywhere from 60-63 mph with occasional arm side action. Also spun a 56-59 mph breaking ball that sweeps across the plate at 56-57 mph.
