At the plate the lefty starts in a narrow setup. Barrel looks very fluid during his leg kick and stride. Loading sequence creates solid balance/separation at foot strike. Strength is slightly ahead of bat speed but both tools project to be above average. Generates natural ball flight to the middle of the field. Much more juice than exit velocity would indicate. In the outfield he plays with good tempo too, slowing down momentum at fielding to ensure ball security. An above average athlete he plays with fluidity. Arm strength is area for improvement. Two-way prospect. On the bump the southpaw has fluid actions with a delivery that doesn’t require a ton of effort. Arm is loose/clean projecting for more strength. Fastball presently sits 66-68 mph with late action to both sides of the plate. Breaking ball has a near 12/6 shape with early action at 55-58 mph. Changeup is thrown with some feel and near fastball arm speed. The pitch has slight run/sink at 61-63 mph.
