6-foot, 205-pound prospect. Made waives at TPG when he hit 90 mph on the gun and followed that up with another solid performance. The right-hander easily produces mid to upper 80s fastball with a low effort delivery. Arm works well through a high-¾ slot and he repeats his delivery. Fastball is heavy and gets on hitters quickly. Consistently was in the zone with the pitch that had some arm side run at times. Both secondary offerings were above average. Breaking ball has big, sharp action on a near 12/6 plane. Maintains arm speed on his changeup that has some late cut to it. Cruised through his outing.

This was our first look at Andrew and he didn’t disappoint. The right-hander has a fluid tempo to his delivery that he is able to repeat. Arm is clean and fast through an over the top slot. Sat 87-90 mph with his fastball that worked downhill. Spun a very sharp 12/6 breaking ball with depth. The pitch was consistently in the zone at 72-75 mph. Still developing feel for his 83-84 mph changeup.
