12/3/17 Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. At the plate the righty starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is smooth and repeatable. Goes with a no stride approach, generating energy by weight shift. Bat flows through load before taking a mostly level path to the baseball. Swing has some whip and strength looks to be top tool in the box. Ball came off well when he squared it up, especially to pull side. Registered a top exit velocity of 79 mph. In the infield he uses quiet footwork, taking a direct path to the baseball. Does a nice job of cutting down distance prior to fielding. Tends to field from heels at times. Shows a sense of urgency to his transfer and gets rid of the ball quickly. Tossed it across the diamond with 70 mph arm strength.
