5-foot-11 and 153-pound right-handed pitching prospect. The lanky right-hander works at a quick pace. Uses a big chest high lift and counter rotation. Uses a high glove side and shoulder tilt during the stride working in-line. Segerman shows solid feel for all three of his offerings. The fastball works downhill out of a high-3/4 slot at 68-71 MPH. Breaking ball has 12/6 shape with gradual break at 53-54 MPH. Also offered a 61-62 MPH changeup that shows some cutting action near the zone. Two-way prospect. At first base he moves well off the bag. Actions are fluid and he has feel around the bag. Glove plays as an average to above average tool. Transfer is quick and arm is accurate. At the plate the left-hander gets going early, using a double tap for timing. Hands stays quiet prior to accelerating the bat through the zone on an uphill path. Showed feel for the barrel with developing natural tools. Generated his most true ball flight to the middle/opposite field. Far from his ceiling physically, projecting for more pop as physical maturation takes its course.

On the bump the right-hander has a fluid, low effort delivery. Lands in line to home plate at foot strike, with his momentum taking him to home plate at finish. Arm speed is developing and he works through a near over the top slot. Did a nice job of commanding the zone with his fastball. Gave hitters a heavy dose of the pitch and wasn’t afraid to work in. Complements his fastball with an 11/5 shaped breaking ball. Displayed feel and confidence for the offering that showed gradual break. A left-handed hitter that starts in a tall, athletic setup. Uses a toe turn to get his lower half involved. Uses a scap load to efficiently load his upper half. Path is level with some natural loft. Swing is compact and he showed feel for the barrel. Top of the lineup type bat. At first base he gets off the bag well and showed confidence in his glove. Would be aided by creating angles on his double play balls to create more efficient throwing lanes. Ball skills are developing.
