Scouting Notes: Momentum style delivery that comes together well. Legit two-way guy. Arm works, generating mid80s velocity. Fastball runs/dives through the zone. Tunnels breaking ball well with the heater. Breaking ball was an absolute hammer at times.

Hit: Starts from a balanced position in the box, and comes to a simple load to create normal timing. Incorporating the lower half well with the upper half allowing the body to do most of the work. Creating good backspin and lift on the ball once it leaves the bat.   
Power: Easy gap abilities.
Top BP Exit Velocity: 91 mph.
Top BP Distance: 343 ft.
Offensive Projection: Middle.
Field: Plays on the balls of his feet expecting the ball. He comes in on the ball well as well as moving laterally and playing with his hands out in front of his body.
Throw: 83 mph across the infield and 88 mph from the outfield.
Defensive Projection: Corner OF.

2/23/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: A slight sidestep to get in rhythm then uses his lower half to explode the mound. Quick arm action, and will gain velocity as he gets stronger throughout the year.
Fastball: Topping at 86 with arm side run and a high ¾ arm slot. 
Fastball Spin Rates: N/A.
Curveball: Between 72-73 with 11/5 break, tight spin, and sharp break.
Curveball Spin Rates: N/A.
Changeup: 75-76 able to maintain arm speed and along with fading action at the end.

A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a small leg lift for timing while taking hands back to launch. Shows a short, compact swing through the zone. A feel hitter with the ability to generate line drives to both gaps. A versatile defender who worked out in both the infield and outfield. In the outfield he has fluid actions while getting to the baseball in a timely fashion. Plays through the ball well, maintaining momentum into throws. Throws showed present accuracy/above average strength with cary. In the infield he uses direct footwork, attacking the baseball off the bat. Plays the ball out in front showing above average ball skills. 3B type skill set. Two-way prospect. On the mound he has smooth tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Arm action is compact through a high-¾ slot. Fastball is heavier than 75-78 mph velocity velo would indicate. Also shows signs of more velo to come. Offers a breaking ball and changeup that both are playable options. Very interesting prospect that is a follow in the 2021 class.

A two-way prospect in the 2021 class. Ran a 7.59 60-yard dash. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup from the right-side. Shifts weight to back side before transferring to front side at swing decision. Barrel flows to a strong launch position, allowing him to create early bat speed as he takes a level path to the baseball. Showed gap to gap pop with signs of much more to come as he fills out his athletic frame. Registered an exit velocity of 73 mph. Worked out at third base and in the outfield. At third base he shows smooth action and plays under control. Hands are soft as he fields the ball deep in the middle of his body. Threw it across the diamond with 68 mph arm strength. In the outfield he plays with a bit more urgency, getting to the baseball in a timely fashion. Slows feet a bit prior to fielding to ensure ball security. Would be aided by playing one-handed through the baseball to maintain momentum through fielding into his throws. Threw with accuracy and 69 mph arm strength to home plate. On the bump the right-hander has a slower paced tempo to his delivery. Rolls through his waist high leg lift into his hip load, landing on line to home plate at foot strike. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot, displaying developing arm speed. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone, sitting 70-73 mph. Spins an 11/5 gradually breaking curveball that was anywhere from 60-62 mph. Also showed a changeup, near fastball arm speed at 64-65 mph.
