Game Performance

Notes

Comments

7/21/20

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. High ceiling bat with size and [hysicality. Ball really comes off well when squared and doesn't take a ton of energy for him to do so. Stayed inside the baseball nicely, working gap to gap in BP.
Power: Ball jumps, easy gap abilities with more to come.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 89mph.
Max BP Distance: 329ft.
Field: Corner skill set in the outfield. Fluid actions with a confident/efficient play through. Ball skills are solid.
Throw: Arm has a chance to be a well above average tool.
Defensive Projection: Corner.

Scouting Notes: Another potential high-level arm out of Jackson HS. 6-foot-3, ideal pitchers frame with an easier delivery. Spins a sharp, downer of a breaking ball with good spin in the 68-71mph range. All physical indicators, including hand speed/spin indicate more velo in the tank to add to fastball. Expect stock to only rise here.
Fastball: 78-81mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1574-1902
Breaking Ball: 68-71mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1805-1961
Changeup:

2/02/20

2/2/20 Position Player
Hit:Physical presence in the box form the right side. Starts in an open setup before using a leg kick to get back squared. Ball comes off well due to his advanced raw strength for class. Really jumps off the barrel when squared. Lower effort juice.
Power: Potential for raw power.
Offensive Projection: Middle Ceiling.
Field: In the outfield he looks to be a serviceable defender with a RF projection. Plays under control throughout with arm being top tool.
Throw: Has a chance to really throw it down the road.
Defensive Projection:RF.

2/2/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Tall strong build with a long arm smooth delivery that throws with ease from a ¾ slot.
Fastball: Comes across straight but heavy, carries little spin but zips in the glove at 78-82mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1757-1988
Curveball: 69-70 mph curveball has 11/5 action with good bite and sharp spin.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1909-2045
Changeup: Looks just like a fast ball coming out of hand but drops off and fades away sitting around 72-75mph.
Slider: Drops arm slot to lower ¾ slot with tight spin moving on a 10/4 axis at 73-74mph
