It had been a while since we saw Braden, but boy did he show improvement in all areas. Behind the dish he starts in a mid crouch. Gets out of his stance smoothly. Footwork creates solid direction. Transfer skills would be biggest area for improvement. Arm strength is there and he threw with accuracy. At the plate he swings it from the left side. Hands move back to launch during his leg kick load and controlled stride. Bat works on a slightly downhill path, generating above average bat speed. Strength stands out as top tool at the plate. Bat gets through contact with ease, showing present gap pop. Also showed feel for the barrel, finding it often.

5-foot-11, 158-pound athletic build. From behind the plate he receives it well and shows good arm strength for his age. His pop times ranged between 2.19-2.30 with 72 mph velocity home to second. Right-handed hitter that starts his hands high with little movement. Shows some strength in his swing for his age and uses the right side well. Registered a top exit velocity of 79 mph and ran 4.69 home to first.
