6-foot-1, 195-pound with a strong frame. Uses average tempo throughout his delivery with moderate effort. Shows repeatable in his mechanics using a high leg kick with slight inward turn. Fastball is thrown out of a high ¾ arm slot and sat 82-84 mph. Displayed one of the best curveballs with a good feel while near fastball armspeed. Curveball was spun with a tight, late 12/6 break at 70-72 mph. Also mixed in a changeup at 68-70 mph. At the plate he is mechanically raw from both sides but has tools to work with. A naturally strong kid that showed solid strength through contact. As of now he is farther along from the right side of the plate. Would like to see him add rhythm to his loading sequence. Top exit velocity was 88 mph from the right side and 70 from the left. In the infield he showed off a strong arm, topping out at 82 mph across the diamond. Glove skills are adequate. Tends to play from his heels, would like to see him maintain momentum through fielding position into his throws. Ran a 4.44 from home to first.
