FB: T83, 81-83 mph. Shows occasional run, rides well T2087, 2044 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. Gradual down and out movement T2271, 2208 average rpm.
CH: 74-75 mph. Shows both sink and fade, tunnels well with FB T1559, 1533 average rpm.

Brady Steinbrunner: 1B/RHP, (2025) Celina, OH. 5-foot-11, 215-pound. (71.5 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a quiet strong stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 79 mph; had consistent footwork, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a quick arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2016; Avg 1953). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2086; Avg 2013).

Brady Steinbrunner: RHP/1B, (2025) Celina, OH. 5-foot-10, 210-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in a balanced quiet stance with a tight load, then used a controlled stride. Has quick bat speed, simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 73 mph; showed a natural exchange, consistent feet, and firm hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.06. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 74-76 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1822; Avg 1812). Throws a 11/5 curveball (59-60) that has slight action. (Max spin 1839; Avg 1803). He shows deceiving action on his knuckleball.

Body Type: 5-foot-8 170-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics:
Balanced stance. Uses a back load to hand during his aggressive stride forward.
Hit:
Looks comfortable with feel in the box. Swing works, finding the barrel often. Line drive guy with backspin abilities.
Power:
73 mph exit velocity. Much more to come. Young hitter with much more maturation elft.
Offensive Projection:
TBD.
Run:
8.48 60-yard dash.
Field:
Fluid feet with smoother actions in the infield. Hands are soft and ball skills are on par for class.
Throw:
66 mph arm strength across the diamond.
Defensive Projection:
2B.


1/21/19 Pitching

Body Type: 5-foot-8 170-pound prospect.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Threw from a ¾ arm slot and showed adequate athleticism in his delivery.

Fastball: 67-70 mph fastball was pretty true through the zone.

Curveball: 56-58 mph breaking ball showed a slurvey type shape with a tumbling action.

Changeup: 58-60 mph changeup was pretty true through the zone with minimal action, but he did show above average command of the pitch.

Pitchability: Decent feel for his 3 pitch mix. Command was solid, particularly to the arm side with his fastball and changeup.

Role: Role is yet to be determined. Physically immature with lots of room for growth.
