6-foot-3, 175 pound, loose-armed lefty walked the bases loaded in his first inning before striking out the side, consistently going to his 71-73 mph breaking ball. Big break and tight spin into the low-2500 rpm range. Well above average depth. Fluid, repeatable, on-line delivery, but struggled to find his release point on his 85-88 mph fastball, often spiking at 58’ to the plate. Curve ball is a now-pitch and difference maker. 2021 Kent State recruit.

Delivery Notes: Kent State commit. Very projectable southpaw. Average tempo regular effort guy. Repeatable delivery through a ¾ arm slot. Everything works in one fluent motion.
Fastball:  Ball comes out of the hand well. Tunnels offering with other pitches very well.
Fastball Spin Rate: 2150-2180.
Curveball: 1/7 shape with good depth and sharp bite. Swing and miss type pitch.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1960-2090.
Changeup: Very effective pitch when located. Enough to keep guys off balance.

6-foot-1, 158-pound thin, athletic build with room to add. Good mover on the mound that is mobile and athletic. Delivery is very easy and ball comes out well. It’s very easy to see that 81-84 mph fastball ticking up to the mid to upper 80s as he adds strength. Also showed a cutter that has a slider look and an above average breaking ball. 

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 158-pound projectable frame with room to add.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Long lever type with a very smooth delivery. Everything works and ball comes out easy.
Fastball: 80-82 mph. Ball comes out well with his long levers/release point causing a tough angle on hitters, especially lefty swingers. Easily should add velo as strength arrives.
Curveball: 68-71 mph. Sweeping action to it with present depth/sharpness to it and projects for even more as velo spikes.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 158-pound projectable frame with room to add.
Swing Mechanics: Lefty bat w/very fluid moves that create balance at foot strike.
Hit: Movements are unique but work for him and swing really plays. Checks all the boxes up there other than physicality which he should grow into with maturity.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity. Much more to come.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup with potential to be an impact bat.
Run: 4.32 H-1st.
Changeup: 75-77 mph. An above average offering that he can locate in the zone.
Pitchability: True three pitch mix. Very impressive showing.
Role: Starter.
