He throws with a clean arm action coming from a ¾ slot, using 80 mph velocity. Left-handed hitter starts with his weight slightly more towards his back leg and uses a small leg kick for added power. He uses a fluid load with his hands moving slightly back towards his shoulder. He swings with his hands moving short to the baseball with a slightly upward bat path through the zone, finishing with a one-handed follow through. Reached a top exit velocity of 79 mph and ran a 4.50 out of the batter’s box to first base.
9/25/19 Swing Mechanics: Lefty stick with a smooth, efficient loading sequence. Hit: Compact stroke that plays to all fields. Sprayed line drive after line drive in BP. Hand speed is obvious with more strength than frame would suggest. Hang time im on misses shows you there's some sneaky power in there. One of the more impressive round of the day. Power: Gap abilities with more to come. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup. Run: 7.21 Field: Moves well in the outfield. Plays low without compromising athleticism. Very comfortable out there with above average ball skills. Throw: Smooth arm action that comes from the left side. Ball jumps without much effort. Accurate with carry. Defensive Projection: Multiple spots.
