2/18/18 Strong, athletic frame. Thick lower half. Starts on left side of the rubber. Small rocker step into leg lift. Throws from high ¾ slot. Comes out near his ear. Good sink to his arm side on his fastball at 76-78 mph. Breaking ball is slurvy type at 65-66 mph. Tendency to get around the ball creating flat plane for the pitch. Changeup has good arm side run with some sink as well at 70-71 mph. In the outfield he showed an average glove fielding it well. Footwork was average and improving on angles taken when attacking the ball. Recorded a 74 mph throwing velocity to home plate. Provides nice intent with each action performed. A righty swinger with gap abilities. Uses a leg lift for timing and shows a slight back load with hands. Barrel launches from a vertical position giving it a running start into contact. Hands show more present strength than speed through the zone. Ball comes off well when he gets extended. Should see more juice as batspeed catches up to strength. A line drive type guy presently. 60-yard dash: 7.79 Outfield Velocity: 74 Exit Velocity: 83
2/18/17 5-foot-11, 180-pound strong frame. A right-hander that has a slower pace tempo on the mound, to his low effort delivery. Tilts shoulders for leverage and lands in line to home plate at foot strike. Uses long back arm action with developing arm speed. Ball comes out of his hand well with his fastball sitting 73-77 mph. Spins two different breaking balls. Slider has minimal break, but shows solid depth at 66-67 mph. Also showed an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with gradual break at 59-63 mph. Flashed a changeup that may have been his best secondary offering. Has the ability to maintain fastball arm speed and put late sink on the pitch.
