Brenden Jakeway: SS/2B, (2024) Millersport, OH. 5-foot-8, 155-pound. Started in a tall quiet stance with a quick controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was developing, showed a level short swing plane and a front foot finish. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.35.
Brenden Jakeway: SS/2B, (2024) Millersport, OH. 5-foot-8, 155-pound. (59.2 mph bat speed average). (18.7 mph hand speed average). Started in a tall open stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick efficient, uses a long level swing plane and high finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Line drive base hit approach. Smooth above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph; shows athletic in control feet, a natural twitchy exchange, and soft consistent hands.
