Body Type: 6-foot-1, 165 pound. Taller, thin build.
Swing Mechanics: Left-handed hitter that starts in an balanced stance. Simple load that leads to a balanced launch.
Hit: Physical left-hander with a slightly downhill stroke. A bit raw but strength plays. Ball came off well when squared.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity. Capable of much more with physical maturation and swing refinements. Size and tools are there.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Run: 4.27 H-1st.
2/2/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 165 pound. Taller, thin build.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Releases with a straight over the top arm slot. Mechanics showed the need for some more fluidity but provides nice intent behind each throw.
Fastball: 72-76 mph. Average velocity for class without much run to it right now. Kept in the strike zone often.
Curveball: 55-56 mph. Developing curveball with some higher loop to it. Command will improve as it sat up.
Changeup: 66-68 mph. Showed some arm-side run and can progress as arm speed increases prior to release.
Knuckleball: 60-66 mph. Working on grip and release point.
Pitchability: Provides an even tempo with good rhythm during his motion. Can get better extension downhill and improve velocity by getting more leg usage. Fastball was best pitch command wise.
Role: Bullpen arm.
