Scouting Notes:Good athlete on the mound. Efficient delivery that doesn't require much effort. Near over the top release that creates a downhill plane on the baseball. Fastball is mostly true through the zone in breaking ball has gradual action with a slurvish look to it. Strike thrower for the most part.

Hit: Starts from a wide base at the place and uses a simple load to create timing. Bath path is level through the zone creating varied ball flight.
Power: Flashed gap abilities.
Top BP Exit Velocity: 83 mph.
Top BP Distance: 293 ft.
Offensive Projection: Top on the lineup. 
Field: Plays well with his hands out front bringing the ball to his body. His footwork allows him to work around the ball and set himself up to make good throws.
Throw: 70 mph across the infield.
Defensive Projection: INF utility.

2/23/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Consistent with mechanics and works down the mound well. A slight foot turn to create rhythm and drive down the mound.
Fastball: Topping at 76 mph from a mid ¾ arm slot with some run arm side.
Fastball Spin Rates: 1600-1800.
Curveball: Between 58-60 with big gradual action.
Curveball Spin Rates: 1700-1900.
Changeup: 67-68 able to maintain good arm speed with late fading action.

Body Type: 6-foot, 145-pound thin frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with minimal movement.  Keeps his hands loose and loaded.
Hit:  Downhill bat path with a pull side approach.  Natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.
Power: Line drive guy right now.
Offensive Projection:  TBD.
Field: Middle infielder that plays light on his feet with consistent tempo throughout. Flashed the ability to create angles and showed ball skills on par for his class.
Throw: High-3/4 righty with an easy release and developing strength.
Defensive Projection: TBD.

1/26/19 Pitching

Body Type: 6-foot 145-pound prospect with room to add strength.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Compact and efficient delivery, strong lower half and shows good direction. Short arm action working through a ¾ slot with some effort.

Fastball: 69-70 mph fastball is mostly straight flashing occasional run when thrown to the arm side.

Curveball: 58-60 mph curveball works on an 11/5 tilt. The pitch has good rotation but shows a little early.

Changeup: 63-65 mph changeup is thrown with deceptive arm action. The pitch shows late fade at times.

Pitchability: True three pitch mix. Shows feel for all offerings. Did nice job working fastball to both sides of the plate.

Body Type: 6-foot 145-pound prospect with room to add to his frame.

Swing Mechanics: Has a balanced setup and lunges forward with his stride. Has a longer bat path that his bottom hand dominant. Barrel is in and out of the zone rather quick.

Hit: Decent bat to ball ability with a low line drive, ground ball approach.

Power: 76 mph exit velocity.

Offensive Projection: Adding physicality will be main factor in determining his offensive projection.

Field: Shows good feet and a solid glove. Plays short hops well and takes ok angles to the ball. Quick arm.

Throw: 70 mph across the diamond.

Defensive Projection: Shows enough raw tools to be looked at as a potential 2B at the next level.
