Brody Countryman: RHP/OF, (2025) Mason, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame. (60.7 mph bat speed average). (18.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled small load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was average, used an upward swing plane and high finish. Through the round he found some barrels. Pull side approach. Athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 80 mph; showed a natural clean exchange, athletic feet, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a long arm action with a ¾ slot. Athletic on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Displays in line shoulders and an athletic balance point. Lands square. Has slight running action and command around the zone. (Max spin 1844; Avg 1753). Had control around the zone and slight action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1785; Avg 1746). His slider had slurvey action and occasional control. (Max spin 1898; Avg 1898).

Starts in a quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, uses a loose level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 73 mph; shows a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. On the mound, using a loose arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 75-77 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1813; Avg 1763). Shows slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball (68-69). (Max spin 1993; Avg 1993).
