Scouting Notes:Worked exclusively from the stretch. Rolls through chest high leg lift into drop and drive load with lower half. Long back arm action before accelerating through a high-3/4 slot. Loose arm that should easily add more velocity.
Fastball:75-76mph.
Fastball Spin Rate:1505-1755
Breaking Ball:62-63 mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rate:1460-1541
Changeup: 70-72 mph.
Body Type: 6-foot, 189-pound Slim, athletic build.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athleticism shows on the bump through a tall and fall downhill drive motion. Delivery contains both energy and control as he works through his high ¾ slot. Max effort delivery with quick arm action.
Fastball: 75-77. Fastball works heavy through the zone and stays true. Heavy ball with high spin efficiency carrying 76 consistently through the zone, topping out at 77.
Curveball: 65-78. 12/6. Arm slot slightly changes to over the top. Breaker show late, sharp break and likes to work down from the knees. Solid secondary pitch with room for development as he matures.
Changeup: 70-72. Average third offering. Offers good change of pace between other two offerings, and mixes in well with other two.
Pitchability: Three playable offerings, with room to develop on his offspeed as well as velo to come down the road. Above average for his class.
Additional Comments:
Body Type: 6-foot, 189-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Smooth and simple load into his back leg.
Hit: Dowhill bat path that produces good bat speed. Ball jumps off his bat.
Power: Flashed it backside. More to come as he develops, and adds size.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy.
Field: In the infield he plays with active feet and quality tempo. Plays low too and through and showed off ball skills on par for class.
Throw: Clean arm through a high-3/4 slot that should support added strength.
Defensive Projection: TBD.

5-foot-11, 165-pound wiry, athletic right handed in the 2021 class. Uses a very rhythmic delivery that is fluid from start to finish. Very simple mechanics that should be easy to repeat on a consistent basis. Longer arm action with slight jab on the backside before working through a near high ¾ slot.Fastball has a tendency to cut through the zone at 72-76 mph. Curveball has near 12/6 break at 67-68 mph. Two-way prospect. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a short stride for timing while keeping hands simple through load and into launch. Path is slightly downhill with both strength and speed to hands. Was on the ground for most of BP, flashing line drive abilities up the middle. Would be aided by adding some loft to path to see more natural ball flight as he has the natural tools to be a gap threat.
