2/8/20 Position Player Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a knee pinch timing trigger during back load to hands. Slightly downhill path with developing natural tools. Found the barrel often in BP. Much more to come as he develops physically. Power: Line drive pop. Offensive Projection: Table Setter. Soft hands with above average ball skills for class. Also worked out in the outfield. More than capable skills set. Throw: Clean arm with developing strength. Defensive Projection: TBD.
1/13/19 Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance. Uses a back load with hands during leg kick timing trigger. Hit: Level to uphill path. Can get around the baseball at times. Swing plays well to the middle of the field where he generates natural ball flight. Much more pop to come as he matures physically. Power: 66 mph exit velocity. Run: 5.09 H-1st. Field: Recorded pop times of 2.37-2.49. Also worked out in the infield. Rangy defender that cuts down distance off the bat. Aggressive defender that looks to be sure-handed. Throw: 50 mph from the crouch and 63 mph across the infield.
