Comments

1/13/19
Body Type:
5-foot-10, 175-pound projectable, athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics:
Athletic stance. Goes with a double tap timing trigger as hands stay quiet through load and into launch.
Hit: Unique movements but they work for him. Natural tools are well above average for class. Found the barrel often in BP.
Power:
90 mph exit velocity. Ball jumps. Gap guy that can backspin it to all fields.
Offensive Projection:
Run Producer.
Run:
4.39 H-st.
Field:
Aggressive defender that gets too and through quickly. Very efficient lower half post fielding that creates momentum into throws.
Throw:
80 mph to home plate. Max effort guy with above average life to his throws.
Defensive Projection:
Corner OF.
Additional Comments:
Physical guy with impressive strength/speed combination. Has a future at the next level.
2/17/18
5-foot-10, 175 pound prospect showed a nice glove defensively in the outfield getting into position to field the ball with average footwork. Throwing velocity across the diamond of 79 mph. Offensively, he swings it with a slight uphill path and quick hands that stay on the ball very well followed by strong contact. He recorded one of the higher exit velocities at 90 mph which could be seen by how the ball came off his bat. Morici swings it with nice force leading to upside as he further develops in his career.
