8/8/12
6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect. Projects best as a pitcher. Shows quick, short arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Fastball is heavy at 83-85 mph. Uses an 81-83 mph cutter with good action. Changeup sits 74-76 mph with good arm side fade. Also shows a 75 mph knuckle ball with some tumble to it. Secondary pitches are good, but still needs effective breaking ball as an out pitch. In the outfield, he shows some athleticism. Registered a 7.25 60-yard dash. Uses quick arm action. Reached a top velocity of 84 mph. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance with a short stride. Tends to bar his arm in his load. Swing gets long. Shows the occasional pop in his swing with more to come as he makes some small adjustments.

7/17/12
6-foot, 178-pound right-handed pitcher. Throws from ¾ to high ¾ arm slot with quick arm action. Delivery requires some effort. Fastball sits 81-85 mph with arm side run. Doesn’t use a curveball, but relies on a 81 mph cutter. Shows a changeup at 73 mph with arm side fade. Also uses a 70-72 mph knuckleball with some tumble.

6/27/12
6-foot, 178-pound right-handed pitcher. Uses quick arm speed through a high ¾ arm slot. Shows regular effort in his delivery. Fastball sits at 82-85 mph. Uses a cutter, which sits at 75-78 mph and shows some action. Changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed and shows some run as it sits at 74-76 mph. Also uses a 73-74 mph knuckleball that generates some tumble. Needs to continue developing off-speed pitches, so that he has an effective out pitch against higher level competition.
