Starts in an athletic tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, shows a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a consistent arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1578; Avg 1528). Throws a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1903; Avg 1885).
