Notes

Comments

7/24/19

Body Type: 6-foot-2, 180-pound physical frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: An up tempo pace for a max effort delivery that has an efficient lower half with a explosive upper half. Tends to fall off glove side.
Fastball: 81-84mph. Arm side movement on the offering that lives low in the zone and shows hints of locating on both sides of the plate. 1,900-2,100 rpm spin rate with high 90% efficiency on Rapsodo.
Curveball: 70-74mph. A solid offering with sharp bite on a 11/5 plane. Pitch got better as outing went on.  Thrown in any count in the zone consistently.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.

5/28/19

Body Type: 6-foot-2, 180-pound medium build athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes:
On time arm action with an all around sound delivery.
Fastball:
78-82 mph with arm side run.
Curveball:
72-74 mph with 11/5 movement.
Pitchability:
Needs to show more command in the zone with both pitches.
Additional Comments:
Athletic frame to work with and develop into a prospect.

7/17/18

A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance.d Uses a leg lift for timing while keeping hands simple prior to launch. Path is downhill with a balanced offering of strength and speed through the zone. A feel hitter that will find the barrel often. Loudest pop and most natural ball flight went to his oppo gap. A third baseman with an athletic frame. Uses quiet, smooth feet to and through the baseball. Good athlete that moves well out of his funnel. Showed impressive range to both sides. Ball skills stay on the move. Solid defender with the arm for the left side. Two-way prospect. Really liked what I saw form Talarek on the mound. Clean, low effort delivery that he can repeat. Arm works well projecting for more velocity down the road. Tosses an easy 80-81 mph fastball that will run consistently arm side. Breaking ball is a playable offering stuff wise and tossed in the zone consistently. Pitch works on an 11/5 plane with more spin than anything 65-68 mph.  Also showed a changeup, maintaining fastball arm speed at 70-71 mph. Dominated in his outing, filling up the zone without allowing a base runner.

5/29/18

A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a fluid leg kick with a slight back load to hands, path shows natural loft with more present strength than bat speed in swing. Run producer qualities with the ability to lift the baseball without sacrificing natural tools. Really efficient swing that has a chance to become more dynamic as he twitches up. At third base he has smooth actions with above average ball skills. Looks to be a good athlete over there. Reacts well off the bat and plays through with soft hands. Arm projects for more strength and should have enough juice to stay over there.

12/11/16

A 5-foot-11, 155-pound prospect. Ran an 8.06 60-yard dash. At the plate he starts in a tall setup and uses a double tap to initiate his lower half. Hands move back prior to taking a downhill path to contact. Barrel gets in and out of the zone quickly. Reached a top exit velocity of 70 mph. In the infield he threw across the infield with 62 mph arm strength, working through a high-¾ slot. Showed confidence in his glove while fielding the ball in the middle of his body. Would be aided by more efficient footwork prior to fielding to play through the baseball more consistently.
