Collin Brandenburg: SS/RHP, (2022) Moeller, OH. 6-foot-2, 200-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Started in an active crouched stance with a quick compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was average, and showed a level swing plane. Athletic while in the infield, made throws up to 77 mph; showed athletic developing feet, sure hands, and a clean exchange. Athletic from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 82 mph; has athletic feet, sure hands, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.85. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a quick arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows some effort. Has an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 78-82 mph; shows arm side command and running action. Throws a 11/5 curveball (66-71) with plus action. Showed fading action and arm side control on his changeup (66-67).
