2/8/20 Position Player Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance. Athletic, controlled load with a slightly downhill launch. All fields hitter. Natural tools are ahead of the curve for class. Low line drive ball flight for the most part. Shows athleticism in the box. Power: Gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 84 Top Rapsodo BP Distance:246 Field: Plays light on his feet with good tempo in the infield. Hands appear to be above average for class. Solid performance. Also worked out in the outfield where he showed athletic feet and good pace. Looked slightly more natural in the outfield but will be labeled as utility guy nonetheless. Throw: Arm works. Already solid strength with more to come. Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.
6/18/19
Body Type: 6-foot, 155-pound thin and athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with minimal movements. Keeps his hands loaded well.
Hit: Level bat path with a middle of the field approach. Produces natural loft to the middle part of the field.
Power: Line drive guy right now who just needs to add size, and develop.
Offensive Projection: TBD. Field: In the outfield he plays under control to and through. Ball skills are adequate and he rotates between one and two handed play though. Also worked out in the infield. Athleticism/has some bounce to his step. Ball skills look to be solid. Throw: Short, compact arm action with developing strength. Defensive Projection: Utility.
1/28/18
In the outfield he plays under control while remaining athletic with his feet. Slows momentum a bit prior to fielding. Transfer was quick and he threw with accuracy. Arm strength is developing. A righty swinger with a simple, yet efficient loading sequence. When he pulls the trigger he displays a compact/slightly downhill storke. Hands show twitch and he looks to be able to handle velocity. A good athlete with much more pop to come as physical maturation takes its course. Offers a three pitch mix on the bump through a high-¾ slot. Works exclusively out of the stretch, allowing him to repeat his delivery. Fastball stays mostly straight through the zone at 68-71 mph. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with big, gradual action at 58-62 mph. Also offers a playable changeup using near fastball arm speed.
