6/6/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a fluid knee pinch load while taking his hands to launch. Path is slightly downhill with above average bat speed. Showed solid strength through contact and the ability to use the whole field. Was at his best when he worked to the middle of the field. Behind the plate he flashed quick footwork and well above average transfer skills. Throws were accurate for the most part. 60-yard dash: 7.33 Catcher Velocity: 72 Pop Times: 1.99-2.09 Exit Velocity: 89
1/28/17 6-foot, 180-pound prospect. A strong kid with impressive bat speed. Ball jumped off his batting practice. Loading sequence is efficient and fluid. Was able to produce consistent backspin on his line drives to both sides of the field. Has the look of a three-hole guy down the road. Behind the dish, he starts in a balanced stance with feet just outside of shoulders. Footwork can get wide with his jab step at time, but has obvious quickness in his feet and hands. Uses short arm action through an over the top slot to generate sub 2.00 pop times. Also showed natural actions in the outfield. Approaches the ball aggressively playing it to the outside of his glove hand. Uses a small crow hop. Ball comes out with some quickness from high ¾ slot.

Fields ground balls out near his front foot, on his glove side. Throws with a clean arm action, through an upper ¾ slot, reaching a top velocity of 76 mph with some carry. Behind the dish the catcher showed quickness in actions while popping between a 2.01 and 2.10. 70 mph arm velocity behind the plate. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance, and gets back to even, using an inward turn with his front foot as a timing mechanism. He uses a fluid load with his hands getting to an armbar, and finishes with a one-handed follow through. He has strength in his swing while showing the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. He finishes with a top exit velocity of 81 mph and ran a 7.55 60-yard dash.
