A middle infielder with more of a third baseman look to him. Takes direct routes to the baseball and shows developing ball skills through fielding. Actions are more athletic on the move. Also worked out in the outfield. A corner guy type with fast, efficient feet. Transitions well through fielding and into his throws. Arm strength is area for improvement at both spots. At the plate he starts in a wider setup before getting into his leg kick movement with lower half. Barrel flows through load, maintaining rhythm into launch. Bat works on a slightly downhill path to contact showing more strength than speed to his hands. A contact guy now with much more to come as he adds strength to his athletic frame. On the mound the right-hander works with a smooth tempo to a delivery that doesn’t require much effort. Arm is clean with developing strength. Fastball comes through a high-¾ slot, sitting 66-69 mph. The pitch showed heavy cut with some sink resembling a slider more than a fastball at times. Slider has a sweeping look to it with gradual action across the plate at 62-64 mph.
