Game Performance

Notes

Comments

1/16/21

Hit: Left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a leg kick timing trigger dring back load to hands. Bat speed is an above average tool for class an should only increase as he adds strength to frame. Also unlocks well, sequencing from the ground up.
Power: Gap pop with more to come.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Field: Looked the part in the outfield. Good athlete with feel for his temp[o and the ability to play through the ball while maintaining momentum.
Throw: Very loose, clean arm that will add easy velo.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots

Scouting Notes: Another high follow lefty we saw on the day. The upside isn't hard to see here. Long, lanky southpaw that has a ton of room to add strength. Showed above average arm speed on all offerings. Stuff was quality and will only sharpen up as he hits impending velo jump. Topped at 79mph with much more in the tank.
Fastball: Regular run that sat in the mid 70s.
Breaking Ball: Two quality breakers that he has feel for. Breaking ball has more up/down action as slider darts across the plate.
Changeup: Maintains arm speed on the offering that has regular fade.
Pitchability: Filled up the zone.
