A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Uses a short stride for timing while keeping hands simple. Takes a level to slightly downhill path to the baseball. Bat speed is above average through the zone, with strength being his top tool at the plate. Ball jumped off his bat especially to his pull side. Produced consistent backspin in BP. At shortstop he played under control and remains smooth as he fields through the baseball. Actions stay on the move. Glove works in and out of funnel. A solid, mechanically sound defender. On the mound the right-hander has a low effort, repeatable delivery. Uses an easy leg lift, staying tall at balance point. Arm action is long with noticeable looseness to it. Filled up the zone with his fastball that showed occasional run. Looks to have more in the tank.  His go to secondary offering is his breaking ball. The pitch showed big, gradual break while working on a 10/4 plane. Did a nice job getting ahead of hitters with the fastball and using the breaking ball as a put away offering. Also showed a changeup that had similar action to his fastball.
