At the plate he starts in an athletic setup from the right side. Hands move back to launch during his controlled stride forward. Does a nice job of controlling weight and launching form a balanced setup. Path is level and he squares the ball up often. A line drive type guy now with more to come as he twitches up and adds strength. Starts in a mid crouch behind the dish. Looks athletic and has feel for the spot back there. Feet are quick and get in line to second during transfer. Transfer skills are on parr for class with a slight pause with arm before forward acceleration. Should see natural improvements in pop times as arm strength comes along with maturity.
