Henry Haag: C/RHP, (2023) Princeton, OH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. During batting practice, Haag had an exit velocity of 92 mph. (70.5 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic quiet stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Had a simple uphill swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 77 mph; had a natural transfer, consistent footwork, and sure hands. had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.92-2.00 pop time. Clean setup. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 83-84 mph. (Max spin 2218; Avg 2189). Has slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball (66-69). (Max spin 2275; Avg 2260). His changeup (74-75) showed slight action. Showed a 10/4 slider (74-76) with late action. (Max spin 2263; Avg 2238). Ran a 4.06 30 yard dash.

Began in a balanced athletic stance with a tight load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was above average, had a level rotational swing plane and level finish. He found multiple barrels in his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 74 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was average, and used an upward swing plane. Laterally, his movements were athletic. Behind the plate, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 72 mph; showed athletic feet, a fluid exchange, and soft hands. Had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.98-2.07 pop time. Above average flexibility and clean setup.
