8/5/18 6-foot-1, 175-pound. Athletic right handed pitching prospects. Uses a quick tempo delivery, working out of a high leg lift rolling into a hip load. Uses a short arm action working through a 3/4 slot. Fastball works downhill with slight run to the arms side at 83 to 87 mph. Offers two different breaking balls, the first a near 12 to 6 curveball that has a bigger break and sharpness at 71 to 72 mph. The outpitch is the slider at 77 to 79 mph the pitch has swing and miss quality with tight 11 to 5 shape.
7/18/17 A 6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses a chest high leg lift and lands in line to home plate. Momentum takes him slightly to first base side at finish. Arm is clean, showing above average arm speed while moving through an over the top slot. Fastball has some giddy up, working downhill through the zone. Pitch showed ASR and cut at times, depending on which side of the plate he worked to. and wasn’t afraid to work in on hitters. Spins a sharp, near 12/6 plane breaking ball as his primary secondary offering. With the combination of depth and movement the offering looks to be able to produce swing and miss. Right now he profiles best out of the bullpen, with definite starter potential once he develops a third pitch. A changeup would fit nicely in his arsenal. FB: 78-83 CB: 70-76
1/18/16 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Starts in a wide, athletic stance and gets his foot down early through a toe tap load. Hands fire through the zone with good bat speed and a level path. Exit velocity was 71 mph but has much more in the tank. Was able to find the barrel consistently during batting practice. In the infield he showed good range to his glove side and made one of the better plays of the day up the middle. Threw from a 3/4 slot with 71 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he had good tempo with a high controlled lift to create momentum towards home plate. From a 3/4 slot his arm has some quickness to it with his fastball sitting 76-77 mph. Had good feel for his 11/5 shaped curveball that had late life at 61-64 mph. Mixed in a changeup with some sink at 63-64 mph.
