Jace Hesketh: C/OF, (2023) West Clermont, OH. 6-foot-2, 185-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. (66.8 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a short simple swing plane and high finish. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 77 mph during throw downs; shows consistent feet, a natural transfer, and soft hands. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.81-1.88 pop time. Some flexibility and clean setup. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.11.

Hit: Athletic look to him in the box from the right side. Aggressive swinger with above average natural tools to swing. Ball jumped when squared. One of the louder rounds we saw on the day.
Power: Easy gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Max BP Exit: 89mph.
Max BP Distance: 330ft.
Field: In the infield he plays with feel to his feet, showing the ability to create angles. Ball skills are above average for class. Left side of infield look to him. Also worked out behind the dish where he had a solid showing. Big arm with athleticism to actions. Impressive catch/throw abilities.
