C/OF, (2023) Milford, OH. 6-foot-2, 180-pound. (67.5 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then uses a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 72 mph during throw downs; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural transfer. displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 1.93-2.01. Clean setup with some flexibility. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action.
Jace Hesketh: C/OF, (2023) West Clermont, OH. 6-foot-2, 185-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. (66.8 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a short simple swing plane and high finish. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 77 mph during throw downs; shows consistent feet, a natural transfer, and soft hands. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.81-1.88 pop time. Some flexibility and clean setup. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.11.
Hit: Athletic look to him in the box from the right side. Aggressive swinger with above average natural tools to swing. Ball jumped when squared. One of the louder rounds we saw on the day.
