7/12/17
A left-handed hitter that start in an athletic setup. Initiates loading sequence through a leg kick. Hands moves slightly back to launch during his stride. Load has an uptempo pace to it. A good athlete with well above average natural tools. Path was mostly level and the ball jumped off his bat when he found the barrel. The type of bat that could fit a lot of roles in a lineup. In the outfield, he displays clean footwork approaching the ball. Fields the ball in front of his body on his glove side foot. Throws the ball with a longer arm action from a 3/4 slot. On the mound the southpaw has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses a high leg lift prior to his stride. A drop and drive type guy that lands in line to home plate at foot strike. Momentum carries him to home plate as he finishes. Arm has some loosens to it with average arm speed. Works through a high-3/4 slot with slinging arm action. Fastball showed arm side run and was consistently in the zone. Breaking ball was impressive. The pitch showed depth and sharpness, working on a near 12/6 plane. Also showed a slider that wasn’t as sharp as the breaker but had more than enough action to be a solid offering.

6/20/17
A two-way prospect in the 2018 class. A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Hands move back during his aggressive stride forward. A good athlete with twitch through the zone. Path is level and he finds the barrel often. Would be aided by adding rhythm to his loading sequence. Was at his best when he worked the middle of the field. In the outfield he uses aggressive footwork approaching the baseball. Plays through the ball well and maintains solid momentum into his throws. Arm action is clean and throws showed accuracy/carry. On the mound the southpaw has a slower pace tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Uses a high leg lift before his stride. Lands slightly closed at foot strike. Arm has some whip to it while working through a high-¾ slot. A strike thrower that has feel for all three of his pitches. Fastball comes out of his hand well sitting 72-76 mph. Does a nice job of using both sides of the plate and changing eye levels with the pitch.  Slows his arm a bit on his secondary offerings. Spins a big, gradual breaking curveball. The pitch moves on a 1/7 plane at 57-59 mph. Changeup has a similar look to his fastball coming in at 66-68 mph.

1/29/17
5-foot-7, 160-pound prospect. The southpaw works through ¾ slot. The delivery is choppy with multiple pause throughout. His Fastball was 67-73 mph with cutting action when thrown to the bottom of the zone. The changeup was thrown with near fastball arm speed. The pitch has cutting action and ranged 59-65 mph. He also showed a 1/7 breaking ball. The pitch has a shorter break and sat 54-59 mph. Starts slightly open at the plate prior to his leg kick load and controlled stride. Noticeable whip through the zone on a level path. Showed above average bat speed through the zone with gap to gap pop. Would be aided by adding rhythm to his loading sequence. Was able to produce backspin on his line drives to the opposite field gap. Defensively, he shows natural feel for the outfield position. Projects as centerfield type but needs to improve arm strength for the next level. Approaches the ball in smooth, aggressive manner. Good momentum through receiving the ball. Uses a crow hop and throws through high ¾ slot with top velocity of 74 mph.
