7/12/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a slightly open setup. Gets back to even through a controlled stride. Hands move back with fluidity prior to swing decision. Path is level and swing is compact. Bat has some quickness to it through the zone. A contact type guy who can use the entire field. In the infield, his feet move quickly. Fields the ball on the balls of his feet and funnels well into his chest. Plays through the ball well, carrying his momentum towards first base. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with decent arm speed. On the mound, the righty uses a slow tempo delivery with fluent motions. Low effort type of pitcher. Uses a slow leg raise to gather his momentum. Releases the ball from a ¾ arm slot. Front foot lands open upon impact. Tends to finish towards the first base side of the mound. Fastball stays on a downward plane through the glove with slight arm side movement. Curveball spins with some swing and miss ability. Offering comes in on an 11-5 tilt. Changeup drops like a circle change with arm side drop. Pitch is thrown with similar arm speed.

1/29/17
Starts in an athletic, open setup at the plate. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to contact. Swing is compact and barrel gets in and out of the zone quickly. Would be aided by transferring weight to front side at contact to flatten out swing. Contact type guy at this stage. Defensively, he showed some range to his glove side. Needs to create angles and avoid fielding flat footed with ball hit straight on. Throws from ¾ arm slot with long arm action.
