Jacob Siegert: C/RHP, (2022) Avon, OH. 6-foot-4, 200-pound. Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Has above average bat speed, level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls during his round. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 74 mph. In the infield, has rhythmic feet, a natural exchange, and soft hands. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 74 mph; recorded a pop time of 2.04-2.12. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.77 at the event. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Shows a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-80 mph; had a control low in the zone that shows heavy movement. (Max spin 2039; Avg 1844). Shows sweeping action and decent control on his 11/5 curveball (64-68). (Max spin 1914; Avg 1848).

While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 74 mph during throw downs. In the infield, had a natural exchange, rhythmic footwork, and soft hands. Behind the plate, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 74 mph; recorded pop times of 2.04-2.12. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.77. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a long arm action while showing some arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows some effort. a falling off finish. Scouting Notes:Two-way prospect. Very projectable on the mound with obvious upside. Delivery works arm is fast/clean and he showed a high velocity ceiling. Also spins an above average breaking ball.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Very smooth mover in the box with obvious physicality. Impressive round, showing the ability to lift the ball naturally to pull side. Has the makings of your prototypical middle of lineup guy who can do damage.
Power:Easy gap pop.
Offensive Projection:Middle.
Max BP Exit:90 mph
Max BP Distance:323 ft
Field: Feet/hands work well back there. Showed some athleticism. Promising defender.
Throw: Average to slightly above average strength that projects for more.
Defensive Projection: C.

2/9/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Projectable frame with a high ¾ arm slot action. Smooth fluid delivery with push throw approach.
Fastball: True through the zone, heavy fastball coming in around 79mph.
Curveball: Shows solid 11/5 break with above average bite for class at 72mph.
Changeup: Good offering that looks like fastball coming out of hands with fade across the zone at 73mph.

2/9/20 Position Player
Hit: Projectable frame with an athletic approach with a simple rock and load. Unbalanced at times, but stays level throughout the zone.
Power: Above average power for class, shows potential as a clean up gap to gap hitter with an exit velo of 84mph.
Offensive Projection: Line drive/gap to gap hitter.
Field: Medium crouch with quickness of the feet. Has good release and solid glove work.
Throw: 74mph catcher velo
Defensive Projection: C
