6/7/16
5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame. A talented two-way prospect who is starting to make an argument for him doing both at the next level. One of the more mechanically efficient swing we saw at the event. Has a very fluid loading sequence where he uses a toe turn to load his lower half. Hands remain loose before getting through the zone with above average strength and batspeed. Gets on plane with the ball early. Sprayed line drives all over the field during batting practice. Swing translates well to game action as he recorded two hits and was not bothered by velocity. Reached a top exit velocity of 85 mph and ran a 7.2 60-yard dash. Moves fluidly in the outfield with a natural feel for the position. Plays through the ball well before showing off his 88 mph arm strength. Foot speed isn’t ideal for a center fielder but makes up for it with his instincts. With that elite arm strength he could wind up at any spot in the outfield. On the mound he has good rhythm in his delivery that requires regular effort. Good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Loose back arm action into a high ¾ slot. Two pitch mix with the fastball sitting 79-82 mph. Curveball sat 66-70 mph with gradual break on a 2/8 plane.

2/15/16
A very talented two-way prospect with a 5-foot-10, 150-pound small, athletic build. On the mound, he shows some rhythm in his delivery with regular effort. Throws with a very repeatable motion. Lands on line at foot strike. Long back arm action into a high ¾ slot with quick arm speed. At the plate he is very mechanically sound with efficient movements and a swing that should easily translate to game action. He sprayed line drives to all parts of the field during batting practice. Projects as a solid option at the top of the lineup at the next level. Registered an exit velocity of 79 mph with more in the tank. Very impressive in the outfield. Using aggressive, athletic footwork he gets to the ball quickly and is able to maintain momentum into his throws. With loose arm action he threw with 86 mph arm strength to home plate. Ran a 4.34 from home to first.
