James Miller: SS/RHP, (2025) Willoughby south, OH. 5-foot-7, 180-pound sturdy build. Started in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is explosive, uses a rotational swing plane and balanced finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found a few barrels. Gap to gap approach. Smooth fluid in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph; has a packing exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had uninterrupted slot and a short quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the base.

Began in an open athletic stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Had explosive efficient bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable fluid while in the infield, made throws up to 75 mph; shows a clean fluid exchange, smooth consistent feet, and next level consistent hands. Movements laterally were athletic average and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Advanced capable on the mound, showing quick developing arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish.  (Max spin 1826; Avg 1711).
