Body Type: 6-foot 2, 195-pound solid frame, projectable build
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: The righty pitching prospect works through a quicker tempo into a high effort drive down the mound. Clean but quick arm action from a near ¾ slot.
Fastball: 78-80mph. Fastball carry heavy through the zone and stays true. More velo to come down the road. 1300-1440 rpms with above average spin efficiency in the upper 90s.

Slider: 69-71mph. The secondary offering comes in at a 9/3 break. Stays tight with sharp break through the zone, with good depth.

Splitter: 68-70mph. Room for the third offering to improve, but a good change of velo. Expect some development from the pitch as he had solid feel for it with above average command.
Pitchability: More velo to come. Above average for class.
Additional Comments:

Body Type:  6-foot-2, 195-pound physical frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Open stance with a simple load into his back leg.  Keeps his hands loose and loaded.

Hit:  Downhill bat path with a pull side approach.  Produces natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.

Power:  Flashed it to the gaps.  More to come as he develops as a hitter.

Offensive Projection:  TBD.
Field:  Quick feet with a good transfer.  Receiving skills that are good for his class, and blocking skills that are still developing.
Throw:  Above average arm with a short and compact arm slot.
Defensive Projection:  Catcher.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 185-pound well built prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a slight back load to hands during short stride for timing.
Hit: Aggressive swinger with obvious strength to stroke. Quick too and powerful through. Ball comes off well. Really got into a few balls in BP.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity. Strong kid with bat speed. Offers present jump with more in there.
Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup.
Run: 4.63 H-1st.
Field: Also worked out a third base where he has the frame for the position. Plays with quiet, direct feet, fielding from heels. Average ball skills for class.
Throw: 79 mph arm strength across the diamond and 77 mph to second base. Arm is top tool. Plays as well above average strength wise with more to come.
Defensive Projection: C/3B.
Additional Comments:

2/2/19 Pitching

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 185 pound. Athletic build.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Produces a ¾ arm slot at release showing a fluid motion mechanically with an even paced tempo. Leg kick was nice followed by hip activation working downhill.

Fastball: 76-79 mph. Showed a stronger arm for class and kept it in the zone often.

Curveball: 62-67 mph. Not much movement on it right now. Developing further as he works to get more on top of it.

Changeup: 69-73 mph. Nice changeup with some late arm side run. Average command.

Pitchability: Mechanics display potential as he gets stronger and continues to throw. His command over can improve but he has plenty of time to progress. Good for now.

Role: TBD.

A right-handed hitter that starts in an open stance. Squared backup through a controlled stride. Hands move back to a strong launch position prior to swing decision. Long lever type that can do damage when he gets the head out. Impressive strength for class. Ball jumps. Middle of the lineup type. Behind the dish he starts in a mid crouch. Fluid and smooth out of his stance, creating positive direction. Exchange skills have room to speed up with maturity. Arm was accurate for the most part. Two-way prospect. On the bump the right-hander has an uptempo pace to a delivery that doesn’t require a ton of effort. Flows through a chest high leg lift into a drop and drive load. Lands slightly closed at foot strike before momentum carrying him towards home plate as he finishes. Fastball comes through a high-¾ sitting 71-76 mph. Spins a tight, 11/5 shaped breaking ball with more rotation than dive at 65-67 mph.
